After Dark: Out of This World

Space has a way of making you feel small, and that's exactly the point of this adults-only After Dark at the Exploratorium. Out of This World explores the search for life beyond Earth through hands-on exhibits, conversations with SETI scientists, and a towering Mars installation that brings the Red Planet a little closer to home. The evening invites visitors to dive into the science of space exploration while hearing directly from researchers working to answer some of the universe's biggest questions. Like every After Dark event, the museum's interactive galleries stay open all night, giving grown-ups free rein to experiment, play, and explore with a drink in hand. It's equal parts science night, social outing, and excuse to see the Exploratorium without the daytime crowds.
