Bad Art Club takes the pressure out of poetry by removing the part that usually makes people hesitate: the need to be good at it. This playful workshop invites participants to write, scribble and experiment with words without worrying about polish, structure or whether the result belongs in a notebook or a trash bin. The appeal is less about learning a craft and more about rediscovering the strange freedom of making something purely for the sake of making it. Expect a room full of unlikely phrases, unfinished thoughts and creative detours that would probably never survive a serious writing class. For anyone who has stared at a blank page and decided they are “not a poet,” this is a good excuse to pick up a pen anyway and see what happens.
