Creepers started as a studio project of Deafheaven members Shiv Mehra and Daniel Tracy in 2011. The two were inspired mainly by '70s horror film scores a la Goblin, but they also mixed in the black metal influence that they have become known for lately. Eventually rounding out a full lineup by adding Varun Mehra on bass and Chris Nativdad as second guitarist, Creepers' sound began to shift laterally towards a more psych/prog rock sound along the sounds of Ride or Chapterhouse. "Lush" is their first debut LP released in November 2014.

WOVE is heavy, but not in the way one might expect. A synthesis of metal, blues and psych, Nate Mercereau and Brent Jasperse form a duo with the tone of a metal band, but with significantly varied intentions. WOVE eschews the evil and anger of classic metal in exchange for pure righteous energy. Fuzz guitars and athletic drums create most of the duo's sound, but spacey foot pedal synths and floating vocals juxtapose their heaviest moments.

Previously engaged with former project, A Million Billion Dying Suns, Mercereau has sustained and coalesced the mainstays of AMBDS into the foundation of WOVE. Vocals glide along as huge guitar tones and roaring synths take center stage while their songs will grip even the most hesitant listeners. "EP1" is their debut release, with EP2 on the way for May 2015.
