Dog Tails & Tales: A Celebration in Partnership with SF Public Library

For this fourth annual celebration of children’s stories, The CJM is going to the dogs! Join us for a special reading of the Mr. Lunch books in partnership with the The San Francisco SPCA’s Puppy Dog Tales. Wag your tails to the music of the Corner Laughers, munch on some free Supercake, enjoy a photo booth and face-painting, create a take home mini book bag, and visit the San Francisco Public Library's bookmobile. Present your SFPL Card for free admission.

Schedule of Events

Green Bookmobile | 11am–5pm
Visit the Green Bookmobile, get a new library card, and continue your exploration of books. Look for them in front of The CJM on Mission Street.

The Corner Laughers in Concert | 11–11:30am
Wag those tales to the rollicking music of this fun kids’ rock band.

Free Supercake! | 12pm
Enjoy a delicious piece of cake from Café Madeleine bakery (first come, first served).

Make your own mini book-bag | 12–3pm
Use Mr. Lunch-inspired stencils and art materials to make mini book bags.

Storytimes with Puppy Dog Tales | 12:30–1pm and 1:30–2pm
Listen to SF Public Librarians read Mr. Lunch books, and meet the lovable canines from the SF SPCA’s Puppy Dog Tales.
