Frameline40 closes out another season of impeccable LGBTQ film programming by bringing closure to fans of HBO’s Looking. The show captured audiences with an authentic portrait of three gay friends navigating the choppy waters of life in San Francisco. Fittingly then, the feature-length follow-up to the abruptly cancelled series will enjoy a preview screening (nearly a month before it airs on HBO) at this revered festival. After the screening, the audience is invited to head over to SF Oasis for a glam afterparty with performances by local drag legend Heklina and the cast of Roundabout Theatre Company’s Cabaret.
