Green Apple Books on the Park

Urban book lovers regard the Inner Richmond outpost of Green Apple Books as a temple of sorts, one that readers must make semi-annual pilgrimages to in order to maintain their literary chops. Its charming and relatively new location in the Inner Sunset has yet to establish such a reputation, but what it lacks in cachet it more than makes up for in convenience. Just steps from the N-Judah Muni line, it also shares space with locally treasured Le Video, so you can pick up a film to complement your new read. Add to that a rotating bushel of in-store events, and I think we have a hit on our hands.
