The Golden Gate Bridge has seen its share of unforgettable moments, but it has only been used as a fireworks launch site twice in its nearly 90-year history. This Fourth of July, the landmark does it again as fireworks are launched from between the bridge's towers to celebrate America's 250th birthday. The display transforms San Francisco's most recognizable skyline into the main event, with bursts of color lighting up both the bridge and the bay below. Waterfront parks from Crissy Field to Marina Green are expected to fill with spectators hoping to catch a glimpse of the rare spectacle. Fourth of July fireworks are easy to find. Watching them erupt from one of the world's most iconic bridges is something else entirely.
