For a city with a long history of political engagement, we seem to spending a lot of time arguing about things like brunch. What happened to us, San Francisco? For those politically engaged enough to rise above the melee regarding bathrooms in Dolores Park, Slate’s Political Gabfest podcast is a welcome friend in the earbuds on those long Muni rides. Catch the show live, with panelists Emily Bazelon of the New York Times Magazine, John Dickerson of Face the Nation, and David Plotz of Atlas Obscura. There will be a Q&A after, so you can finally engage with a willing sparring partner IRL.
