This non-profit space focuses on contemporary art and the Bay Area's place in that field. In addition to regular programming at the War Memorial Building, SFAC maintains Grove Street Windows (155 Grove Street), where you can watch projections and other site-specific installations, and runs the Art at City Hall programme, a quarterly exhibition often curated in collaboration with local organisations.
