SF Ballet’s bravest dancers tackle choreographer William Forsythe’s notoriously difficult piece. Though it only clocks in at 11 minutes, the lightning-fast performance once brought ballet master Katita Waldo to tears. Be thankful you’re in the audience, where you can admire the crazy saucer tutus and athletic feats from the comfort of your seat. Three other dances—Variations for Two Couples, Manifesto and The Kingdom of the Shades from La Bayadère—round out the evening.
