The future site of the Central Subway has been turned into a month-long pop-up plaza, complete with Astroturf and glowing seating. The park-like site features a beer garden every Thursday, Off the Grid food trucks (Senor Sisig, Bacon Bacon and Curry Up Now among them), adoptable kittens and puppies in the nearby Macy's windows, and weekly caroling and live music performances. Food trucks daily. Free.
