Ever daydream of traveling to Venezuela and looking at art? During these winter months of Seoul, you can escape to the Seoul Museum of Art and find yourself surrounded by works from the Fundacion Museos Nacionales in Venezuela. The artworks will feature 100 historic works that show a brief outline of Modern and Contemporary art. Starting with lithographs and oil paintings of the figurative expressionist Francis Bacon in the 20th century, the exhibit takes you to unique still life paintings of Georges Braque, who first started papier collé (a type of collage and collaging technique in which paper is adhered to a flat mount) as well as American abstract expressionist Willem de Kooning will be exhibited. More familiar images by Andy Warhol and Picasso will be present as well.
