Disney on Ice: Magical Ice Festival

The first Disney princess to captivate audiences was Snow White back in 1937. The Little Mermaid was released 1989 and in 2013, Elsa from Frozen mesmerized all the hearts of children and adults. Disney on Ice: Magical Ice Festival (Disney on Ice from here on out) brings out the princesses from all these decades in the form of an ice show. Disney on Ice is loved around the world in 70 countries with 36 different repertoires ever since its first performance in 1981. This performance is divided into two parts where main characters from The Littl Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Tangled and Frozen come to life on the ice rink. Young Ariel from The Little Mermaid opens the first act and Sebastian and other characters from the film skate along to the song “Under the Sea.” The highlight of the second act is arguably Frozen. I bet all the little Elsa’s who came to see the performance will sing along to “Let It Go.” (One more insider’s tip: the lantern scene from Tangled will also be recreated.)
