This event is part of JW’s Taste The Tradition, a promotional series introducing the local traditional food cultures of select Marriott International properties in the Asia Pacific region. Cities included are Mumbai, New Delhi (India), Hangzhou, Macau (China) and Seoul. Every Monday, each city will present their version of their country’s food culture. Four Korean dishes will be prepared by Chef Park Seung-il, a veteran chef with 22 years of experience, including an interesting course menu featuring a drink of your choice–makgeolli cocktail or buckwheat tea–and hwajeon (pan-fried rice cake) prepared with azalea, chrysanthemum and other edible flower petals.
