You don’t have to be in Jeju to experience Haevihi’s 10 year anniversary – they will be holding a special event right here in Seoul. At Volpino, currently one of the hottest restaurant’s in town, Haevichi will be hosting a pop-up dinner called ‘Haevichi in Seoul’. It’s a chance to witness the extravagance of Haevichi’s 10 year savoir-faire in fine dining and service without having to travel down to the island. Local ingredients from Jeju like sea bream, black pork and buckwheat along with ultra-premium ingredients like caviar and sea urchin roe will be included in the menu. The representative dishes of the pop-up event will be the sea trumpet couscous made with clam broth, Jeju sea bream cooked in oil, samgyeopsal cooked in pork broth with chorizo and sauerkraut, and sea bream roe and caviar with horseradish cream among other special dishes. The pop-up event will be held on May 25th and 26th for lunch and dinner. The 6 course lunch will be 90,000 won and the 12 course dinner will be 150,000 won.
