Time Out says

Cinecube is a theater for art films and is located across from Gyeonghuigung Palace. Though they generally show only art films, at times, one of their two screens will show a commercial movie as well. The facility frequently partakes in film festivals thanks to their surprisingly large number of seats and stage facilities. Two of their most notable events include the Asiana International Short Film Festival, Korea’s first and largest of its kind, and the Green Film Festival in Seoul. Since all food, except for water, is prohibited in the movie halls, make sure to eat ahead of time—you won't find anyone munching away on caramel popcorn or nachos during a movie.
