Indie Space

Being the first is always a valuable title to have. And Indie Space was the first independent film theater to open in Korea. It first opened by renting one screen at the Joongang Cinema in 2007. Now it's located in Miro Space on Shinmunro. Though it rents only one movie hall with 120 seats, Indie Space is an important supporter of various events such as the Indie Forum and Seoul Independent Film Festival. Each seat is inscribed with the name of a person in the film industry who has contributed to the operation of the theater.
