Time Out says

After Ki Myoungshin became a band manager in his late 30’s, his career as a culture planner and organizer in Korea's indie scene seemed to only expand as time went by. Each year, Ki's effort paid off, with his bands debuting at SXSW and signing deals in the U.K  — highly influential and well respected among local musicians and alike, Ki was without a doubt making his and many of others' dreams into reality. Yet, this March will mark a year since his passing, which was too early for the talented and compassionate supporter of Korea's music scene. At Strange Fruit, from 7pm, Galaxy Express and Crying Nut will open a night of mixed emotions, commemorating his ‘rock spirit’ which didn't seem like it'd ever see its end — rocking out, making noise and reflecting all of the darkness of light that life and Hongdae have to offer.
