Time Out says

The name Nell has been re-tweeted and commented by hundreds of music fans on social media recently. How come? Well, Coldplay, duh. They mentioned of Nell’s Grey Zone as a song they like. Epik High’s Tablo once said that he did not want to see this band’s name on music charts anymore—he wanted to be the only one who knew of their music. But we know such a wish won’t be ever granted, as Nell’s fan base covers teenagers to those in their late 40’s. Having humble beginnings on the live stages of Hongdae’s clubs, the band was able to take the Korean indie scene by storm, having sold out their Christmas concert tickets for 10 consecutive years. Opening concerts in Japan and even the US, they have recently played in Taiwan and released an album specifically for the market as the growth of the local fanbase led to an international deal to another. This spring, Nell will host a series of 12 consecutive concerts here in Seoul, a first in 10 years—at Hongdae’s live stages, a reflection of their beginnings.
