You’ve been number one on DJ Mag for two consecutive years, beating David Guetta, Avichi, Armin van Buuren, Tiesto. What’s your secret?
This is questions for the fans. I try to fill the stage with my confidence in music. Obviously, this is to offer the fans with the best music. The rankings aren't important. I am always grateful for what I have, and I think it is important to continue having a passion for music.

Many people point out that you are the person behind the era of "mash-ups"...
The process of editing different numbers is fun. I am sure the fans feel that way to. I don't stop digging for new music. This way, I naturally listen to a lot of music, and it leads to new ideas for mash-ups.

Are you ever nervous on stage?
Of course. That is how I am able to more focused. The more I’ve spent preparing a set, the more nervous I get. That is why I get my energy from the crowd before I step on stage. Right now, I prefer and enjoy the big stage. I overcome my limitations, and step into a bigger world. The upcoming I Am Hardwell? United We Are tour stage will be the perfect platform.

What music projects do you have coming up?
I will be busy with my world tour and promoting my new album this year. I will be headlining several festivals, and am planning a special party with Revealed Recording, the label that I am currently managing.

A few words for your fans in Seoul!
Thank you everyone for the love. Fans in Seoul are known, even amongst artist circles, to be "hot" (laughs). I'll be looking forward to seeing that fire at UMF Korea.
