Pulse (CLOSED)

Club Pulse boasts the longest staying power in the Itaewon club scene. It is touted as the having brought the underground Itaewon gay scene to the main streets (no longer do you have to be unsexy on your way up Homo Hill, wheezing from the steep climb). The music here is quick and light, to suit the tastes of the 20 and 30 somethings that populate the place. The crowd at Pulse grows significantly after 2am, and about an hour later at 3am, there is a marathon of k-pop music where club-goers will break into choreographed moves for each song. Many say Pulse’s psykick lighting and spectacular sound system are some of the best in Asia so go ahead and enjoy not just the “sights” but the visual and audio treats.
