Time Out says

Hot dogs are no mere snack. This classic junk food has basically become an institution, and the balance of bread, meat, condiments and sauces is vital. The owner of Bob's Barbie worked tirelessly to adjust the salinity and flavor of the main ingredients so that the natural taste of the more subtle ingredients could also come through. While he doesn't make the bread himself, he custom orders batches of his own special bread recipe. The restaurant first started with Australian meat pies as its flagship menu item, but its hot dogs soon became the hot item. These hot dogs used to be greasier with an intense cheese flavor, much like the authentic Aussie style, but the owner toned down the grease and cheese for the Korean palate. Other menu items such as the double cheese hot dog, chili hot dog, apple pie, and meat pie are also popular.
