Chikalicious (CLOSED)

Just across from Ciuri Ciuri is the best cupcake shop in Hongdae: Chikalicious is an offshoot of the New York branch and sells cupcakes that are velvety and light. At any given time, they have at least a dozen flavors on offer, from Earl Grey to red velvet. We’re suckers for the carrot cake, whose white frosting top is decorated with the tiniest, cutest little orange frosting carrot. The open kitchen allows baking enthusiasts to ogle the gleaming equipment and lets everyone smell the freshly baked goods. Mini cupcakes are also available in limited quantities (we dare you to stop at one).
