Time Out says

Dolgomnae is a restaurant and pub located in the shabby underground shopping center of Donghyeon Apartments. The restaurant’s name, Dolgomnae, took the first syllables of the Korean characters that refer to octopus and sea eel. True to its name, Dolgomnae is famous for their delicious octopus and sea eel dishes. We're not going to lie—walking in feels a little shady, especially since the restaurant's windows are all covered. Once inside, however, the friendly atmosphere of the apartment’s old underground shopping center will instantly put you at ease. In fact, the restaurant has become so popular that they've expanded to fill the entire underground shopping area. A few remaining old signs from long gone businesses including “Donghyun Gimbap” and “Icheon Rice” give you a glimpse of what the underground shopping area used to look like, and how Dolgomnae has expanded. Boiled octopus is everyone’s favorite among its main dishes, and there is no better delicacy if eaten wrapped in the dried laver, miyeok seaweed, or tot seaweed served on the side. It is overall a modest table but the fresh quality of its menu makes liquor all the more enjoyable. As there are numerous neighboring movie studios and entertainment agencies, the restaurant is famous among many celebrities and people working in show business. More staple meals like octopus bibimbap are sold at lunchtime in order to satiate the salary men in the area.
