Time Out says

3 out of 5 stars

Gontran Cherrier is a French bakery, named after the French baker, opened in Seorae Village, so called “French Village”. Gontran Cherrier is a young, star patissier, who seems to be born to become a baker, born in a four-generation patissier family, with ample experiences in Michelin 3-star restaurant, TV and media. His “good look” also helped him gain fame not only in France, but many other countries. The France-based bakery has grown into an international, multi-location behemoth: Singapore, Japan, and Korea. Croissant, Pain au chocolat - chocolate-infused croissant – show the artisanal bent of his work. His talent shines through buttery croissant with airiness, flower-bud looking and sweet koing amann. His love of travel and overseas experience brought boundary-free, colorful recipes, ranging from grapefruit pistachio square, and squid link bread, to pain de champagne with sesame leaf and cream cheese.
