Time Out says

Kong-G Pot-G is an Italian restaurant nestled within the cluster of hanok in Bukchon. It's housed within a gray, modern building complex that is extremely contrasting from the traditional neighborhood, together with a café, a small art gallery and a shop. So, what's this place known for? One might not imagine before actually getting on top of the building—it's the rooftop terrace belonging to the eatery which truly encapsulating. While it isn't very high up, the charming hanok-style rooftop offers a stunning panoramic view the city uniquely filled with charcoal kiwa-tiled roofs surrounding the building.

Kong-G Pot-G presents itself to be a pretty formal venue, with all its servers dressed in a suit, ready to be at your table and fill your glass at all times. But there's a reason why we didn't mention the food first: it's unfortunately not up to par with the beautiful ambiance and amazing service that the venue offers. The few pieces of bread served with olive oil and balsamic vinegar were extremely dry and lacking in taste. And while served promptly, the rose seafood risotto was disappointing as well; the sauce was shallow in flavor and the seafood rather bland. Fortunately, the baked mushroom with homemade ricotta cheese was a delight (and were we happy, as the venue's got too much of the good stuff to be dismissed). The mushrooms were well-cooked, still steaming as being served, and almost popped in my mouth exposing layers of pleasantly earthy flavors. A dash of balsamic sauce offered a refreshing kick that complimented the homemade ricotta cheese with greens.

If you don't mind the fact that the dishes aren’t as sophisticated as you might want, by all means, visit this place—cause, an almost unforgettable scenic experience, Kong-G Pot-G has got it. Or, simply, get coffee or a drink and enjoy the view.
