Time Out says

4 out of 5 stars

If you know someone skeptical about the high price of a tiny meringue cookie that is sweeping the nation, show, don't tell: take them to Seoul's newly opened branch of Ladurée, the French macaron house that dates back 150 years. Though macarons can be found just about anywhere in Korea these days, getting one that's just right isn't so easy. At 3,800 KRW apiece, Ladurée serves up the perfect macaron with an eggshell-like exterior and a fudgy, chewy inner. There are 13 different flavors (Ladurée is known for typically focusing on a single, simple flavor in each macaron), and we're frankly in love with the rose macaron. You really can't go wrong with any of them. Ladurée is located on the 1st and 2nd floors of Shinsegae Department Store, so be sure to visit both for the full experience.
