Time Out says
Sure, you could fill up on fast food for under 5,000 won, but is it possible to eat healthy and not break the bank without loading up on calories? Our go-to dish for that very purpose is buckwheat noodles, which are known to be high in nutrients and low in fat and cholesterol. The restaurant’s name directly translates as “Mapo Instant Buckwheat Noodles District” and here, you’ll find a variety of buckwheat noodle dishes with generous helpings: buckwheat makguksu (noodles with vegetables served in cold broth), buckwheat soba (noodles served with a small bowl of wasabi and cold broth on the side) and buckwheat bibim noodles (noodles mixed with hot pepper sauce and vegetables). Going at a busier time will probably mean that the noodles are fresher, so peak times might be worth the wait for this one.
