Time Out says

3 out of 5 stars

This pho shop is in the Samsung Chereville basement food court. Friendly Vietnamese workers greet you with a smile and quick service. The pho serving is generous and well priced. Similar to most places, a plate of sprouts, cilantro and bird's-eye chilies are provided and the menu has several spicy pho and other noodle options. While the cilantro is brought whole (instead of chopped) and the sprouts could use a bit of livening up, the sliced beef in the pho is more tender than its neighbor Pham Thi Chinh. The pho here is very light in appearance and the beef-based broth is clear. The next bit may come down to preference: A rather large slice of raw onion is added to the pho right before being served, allowing it to cook in the soup while you're eating. It adds a distinct sweetness and flavor to the soup that I just didn't like as it's quite pronounced. This addition should be optional, as it is with many places. However, I suspect many will enjoy this pho precisely for that reason. By James Yu
