Time Out says

The most delicious Indian food around Hongdae can be found at Sitara. It comes with credentials: Sitara is run by an Indian chef who formerly ran New Dehli's Hilton Hotel kitchen. To open Sitara, he brought an authentic tandoori oven all the way from his hometown. Thanks to this tandoori oven, you can enjoy the taste of real flame on the tandoori chicken and naan bread.

The chef is also passionate about inventing new marsala. Marsala is a mix of numerous spices, and different marsala sauces can be made depending on the types of spices mixed; the more range of marsala you have, the more flavor and aroma can be added to your dishes. Colorful and mild aromas are characteristics of his dishes, thanks to his creative marsala.

The signature menu items are butter chicken and spinach chicken curry. Enjoy hot naan, baked fresh in the tandoori oven, and finish off your meal with a cold and sweet lassi. The restaurant’s interior is modern, but still reflects the unique characteristics of India. The tables are decorated with Bombay blue tone tiles from India, and hand carved lightings and decorations made by an Indian master craftsman are placed throughout the store.
