Sungmin Lamb Skewers

There are lots of lamb skewer places in Seoul, so what sets this one apart? Walk in and you’ll find the atmosphere not too different: red seats full of young people having a bottle of beer and soju with their lamb. Sit down, try the lamb skewers and you’ll taste the difference. The lamb seems to be greasier than other places, making it softer and more savory (a little less healthy too). Another difference is the red chili powder spice. There’s something about the one at Sungmin that has a richer, heartier taste that really highlights the unique taste of the lamb. Enjoy it with a cool glass of Tsingtao beer and wash your troubles away. This joint fills up pretty quickly on a weeknight, so make sure to get there in time to beat the crowds!
