Don’t walk in expecting to find coffee at Tea 22233 as this is strictly a tea only kinda place where you can order different types of handmade marmalade teas. Among the different options is the grape cinnamon tea made of herbal medicines, grapes and cinnamon, which is Tea 22233’s signature blend. When I ordered it, I was told that it might not be very tasty despite it being one of the recommended items. But to my relief, it was delicious. This fruit tea turned out to be neither too sweet nor too sour. Just like my conversation with its good-natured owner, Tea 22233 is small but comfortable. Decorations by the owner include lighting adorned with gypsophila and twigs. To accommodate customers, they refurnished with the place with additional tables and chairs not too long ago. The neighborhood has grown increasingly noisy in the three years since they settled in the alley between Noksapyeong and Gyeongridan. Despite all the changes around them, they’ve kept their small signboard and not done anything fancier.
