87mm & Cafe ones

Made in Seoul and adored by Seoulites, the city’s very own clothing brand, 87mm, recently opened its first official store in Seogyo-dong. Steered by the three model-turned-entrepreneurs Kim Won-joong, Park Ji-woon and Seo Hongseok, 87mm has twice been featured in “Next Generation”, a show during Seoul Collection that is exclusively for up-and-coming designers in the city. The brand’s signature products are snapbacks and sweatshirts, which have a simple
and modern urban vibe in their design. Built with the purpose of serving as a hideout for the unique and fun loving, 87mm’s store is located right behind Hongdae Playground. Up until now, they’ve collaborated with a few local businesses and pop-up events, but the Seogyo-dong venue is their first official brand store. Renovated from a family home, the store’s first floor has a café that runs parallel to the line of clothing racks and they use the second floor as an office. The designers’
personal tastes are well represented through their personal belongings that are strategically placed throughout the store, weaving together to create a distinctive ambiance.
