Though the concept of being vegan in Korea might have been unheard of a few years ago, it's becoming more and more popular. One leading example of this is the first ever Vegan Festival Korea.
Vegans and non-vegans alike can come check out the variety that'll be sold at the festival - including vegan fried chicken, vegan gyro lamb, vegan cheese yogurt, cakes, ice creams and more! The festival promises "all the ingredients of food products will be reviewed to provide safe vegan food."
Those interested in the vegan philosophy can also talk to a number of NGOs, environmental groups and human rights groups that'll be set up at the festival.
10% of the proceeds will go to charity so it's a great event to grab something delicious, learn something new and do a little good as well!
