First opened in 1979, Korea Galleries Art Fair is the very first art fair that Koreahas seen. Now in its 35th edition, the Korea Galleries Art Fair will include 94 local galleries showcasing 530 artist. Almost 2,800 works of art will be shown, while Korea’s prominent galleries including Kukje Gallery, Gallery Hyundai, Arario Gallery and Hakgoje, among others, will be presenting their 2017 collections.There will also be My Space, My Taste, a collaborative exhibition with Naver showcasing young photographers’ works. With cost points between 300,000 won and 5,000,000 won, you might find some great pieces for your own collection (while supporting some talented artists in the country). Something new this year is the VR Gallery Experience Zone which is organized in collaboration with EAZEL (http://eazel.io). It's got cool features that allow you to virtually walk through exhibitions and look at artworks that are not currently available in your area!
