Gangnam Festival

No matter which nook might be your personal favorite, Gangnam takes the prize when it comes to being the most famous district in Seoul. The Gangnam Festival, in true posh style, isn’t like the other neighborhood festivals happening in Seoul. It’s a series of festivals and events that’ll take place in various parts of the Gangnam district. Those interested in fashion can check out the array of fashion events, including the Gangnam Citizens’ Fashion Show organized by Gangnam residents on the 1^st, the Rising Designers Contest on the 2^nd that showcases new designers to watch for and the Trends Fashion Show that’ll feature brands based in the Gangnam area. On the 3^rd, there’ll be an International Peace Marathon to raise money for charity. And, of course, a K-pop concert to close off the events on the 4^th. The Global Chief Food Festival (Oct 3^rd), the Gangnam Grand Sale (Oct 1–15), Great Korean Beer Festival (Oct 8–11) and the 15th Coex Chrysanthemum Flower Festival (Oct 1–15) are all happening in association with the festival.
