The 1.2 kilometers starting from Cheonggye Plaza and ending at Supyogyo Bridge will once again overflow with brightly lit lanterns made from traditional materials and techniques. What you'll see are traditional, Han River themed lanterns, local region and international city themed lanterns, modern art lanterns, and children's cartoon lanterns—all in a grand scale and fantastical looks. And, guess what? You might even spot the beloved I·SEOUL·U graphic lantern, as well. You can float your personal wish lantern on the Cheonggyecheon stream, too (2,000 won when applying online, 3,000 won when purchasing on site)! A food market and trucks will also be there on top the bridge. The lanterns will light up from 5pm to 11pm, a perfect time for an after-dinner walk.
