Seoul Lantern Festival 2015

Started in 2009, the Seoul Lantern Festival is one of the most talked about events that happen in the city. Locals as well as tourists come to check out the various lanterns that are hung all over Cheonggyecheon. With this season's theme "Illuminated Seoul Tour," the lanterns will illustrate the city's history, show well-known figures in Korean history as well as celebrated lanterns from different countries. Beware that the festival is quite crowded and the outdoor walk may be a bit chilly for some.
