Guilty-free 'shop til you drop' with these discounts
By Hahna Yoon|
On holiday in Korea? Living here permanently but crazy about shopping? Well, we have some good news that you can cash in. The Seoul Metropolitan Government and the Seoul Tourism Organization host an annual event where they provide discount cards for foreigners. And we’re not talking dinky, unwanted sales rack stuff. We’re talking about discounts at major department stores, duty free shops, cosmetics stores, markets, restaurants and movie theaters as well as low prices on the hottest products. Over 1,200 venues are registered to participate and sales can go up to 70% off the regular price. Getting a discount card is super easy – just sign up for one online and print it out. If you’re in the Myeong-dong area, you’ll notice lots of people with them in their hands. Shop, baby, shop. More information at www.seoulsale.com.
