Spartan Race

Pictures of races past show mud dripping off sweaty, ripped cross-fitters of both sexes at this globally recognized obstacle course, the Spartan Race. Though the registration deadline has passed, the event accommodates many spectators who attend to support friends or find their fitness inspiration. There’s a mini Spartan obstacle course, a photo wall, music, food and drinks to pass the time. With some challenge accepters flying to Korea just for the event, the crowd’s international and the mood’s more of an adrenalin-filled party than it is a gym class.
