BOKKE, jou lekker ding! The Springboks took the inaugural Rugby’s Greatest Rivalry series trophy to the floor with a resounding 43-28 win over the All Blacks in the fourth and final game in Baltimore, United States, on Saturday.
Class work from the entire team saw Man of the Match Morné van den Berg double down, as did the opportunistic effort of speedster Kurt-Lee Arendse! It was a tri-fest, for sure.
The match took place just a week after the calabash crash out at the FNB Stadium in Johannesburg - and many a rugby fan from Soweto to Christchurch were asking, "Why Baltimore?!"
The reason is support and profits for World Rugby, as it looks to "awaken the sleeping giant" that American rugby can be, according to SA Rugby's Mike Greenway.
