Radhika Dias Bandaranaike is an artist who is sensitive to nature, painting in mellow hues and delicate lines. She started by doing hand painted cards for friends, and afterwards was tutored by the late Cora Abraham. She also learnt porcelain painting with Rohini Aluviahre.
A great traveller, Radhika takes photographs of scenery that pleases her while travelling, and then transforms them to paintings at leisure. You need no knowledge of art appreciate her work. Her paintings appeal to anyone and everyone.
