Farm Day Spring 2015 says
You are invited to an open farm day for our customers or those who wish to see the facility (functional, not fancy). There will be two sessions due to limited parking and you are asked visit ONLY during the posted hours - let us know when you rsvp. Be considerate and at the appointed time, please leave so we can use your parking for the next group. Our team will be having lunch together between sessions!

Please come NO EARLIER than 15 minutes prior to your scheduled visiting time. A parking attendant will be on site to direct you to a parking space - please only park where directed and on our property.

Available times are 10:00 am -12:00 noon and 1:00-3:00pm. When you respond, please note which session you will be attending. Laura Shepherd, Frank Van Nostrand and Keith Pluss have graciously agreed to provide great music and vibes to set the mood for the day..... Our Head Milker also owns BAREFOOT BBQ and will be available through out the day for the purchase of food so bring your appetite and be sure to stop and eat while you are here! Locally sourced pastured pork is always on the menu at this trailer! Two Seeds in a Pod (our organic gardener) will be available with heirloom seeds/seedlings for sale and a garden tour. We ask that you gather in our front area and you will be escorted on the farm for a short tour, then you can enjoy communing with the animals after the tour until the end of your session. We will have milking demonstrations once an hour during the day. Last spring we were lucky enough for Ariella to deliver twins in the afternoon - who knows? Maybe history will repeat itself....

Cow and goat products, eggs, goat milk soap and farm t-shirts will be available for purchase so bring your coolers and cash (sorry, no plastic).

Signing a release of liability will be required upon entrance....that is to make our attorney happy as we do not have any liability insurance but shall serve as a reminder that this is a working farm and inherent dangers exist. There is a donation of $5 per visitor (covers rental of porta potty, extra expenses for farm day), children under 10 are free.

Please do not gather eggs, enter the gardens unattended, pick the produce or go in private areas.

A hand sanitizer station is available for your convenience. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times and be mindful of their safety. PLEASE DO NOT ALLOW YOUR CHILDREN OUT OF YOUR SIGHT! This is a working farm and there are many temptations! Unattended children will be given a large Mountain Dew and allowed to climb manure mountain. As always, closed toed shoes only (parents and children) and dress appropriate to the farm.
