History Bike Tampa Celebrates International Workers Day! says
May 1st is celebrated as International Workers Day, a day that has its origins in the labour union movement, specifically the eight-hour day movement, which advocated eight hours for work, eight hours for recreation, and eight hours for rest. Join History Bike Tampa as we tour through sites significant to the many fights for workers rights in Tampa and Ybor City.

The ride will be at Kahwa Coffee (bottom of the Element Building) located in downtown Tampa, and registration starts at 9:30AM. We will depart *promptly* at 10am. The tour is provided free of charge, however there's a suggested donation of $5.

The ride will last approximately 2 hours and will be traveling in light to moderate riding conditions. Please RSVP if you are planning on attending, and come ready to ride safe (helmet!!).

The ride will only be able to accomodate the first 80 registered riders. First come, first serve so show up early to sign in. No line holding, sorry!

History Bike Tampa is *very* fortunate to have a big community of "bike family". Ride Guides and Volunteers are identified to all riders at the beginning of each ride. These individuals have been hand picked and are aware of ride details in advance of each event. If you are *not* an identified individual, please do not attempt to tell other riders what to do, "cork" roads, or provide unsolicited guidance. Simply enjoy the ride and maintain your own bike safety!
