Ted Smooth straight face you remember makes his return to ODS on Sunday March 12th for what is sure to be a remix throwdown. Ted is coming fresh off of winning "Remixer Of The Year" at this years Global Spin Awards so you already know the hype is real. If you missed his last set at ODS then you don't wanna sleep this time cause the party was at a fever pitch. Additional support from ODS resident DJ's Casper & Fader with hosting by Deacon and food by Jam Dish.

Teddy Rafael Mendez p.k.a DJ TedSmooth has been a staple in the New York City club scene for two decades. His unique style earned him the title “The Remix King,” as his remixes have been attributed to taking a hit record to the next level.

Tedsmooth has been the force behind some of the hottest remixes including Jamie Foxx’s Blame it, Beyonce’s Love on Top, Jay Z and Justin Timberlake’s Suit and Tie, Miguel’s Adorn and Usher’s Daddy’s Home featuring Jadakiss, all receiving well over 100,000 hits.

The artist, producer, songwriter, and DJ is known for being the man behind Lumidee’s biggest hit, “Uh Oooh” and “No Music” by Voice of Harlem. In 2009 he landed a spot in Funkmaster Flex’s Pitbull DJs, was named “Best Blend DJ” at the 2009 and 2010 Latin Mixx Awards, and earned a nomination for “Best DJ Producer” at the 2012 Global Spin Awards. He is currently the #1 Streetball DJ, in the #1 Streetball Tournament in New York City; he is three years in as Dyckman Basketball Tournament’s Official DJ.

His brand reaches far beyond just the music industry. In his East Harlem neighborhood, he organizes a series of outdoor gatherings known as Tedsmooth’s Old School Jams. The annual series features musical performances by legendary DJ s from all over the world. In addition, he’s hosted community based events at La Casita Community Garden in East Harlem, which he’s managed for over 10 years.

Each party will be complete with GUEST DJ's dropping gems and special sets, as well as the hosts and resident selectahs, DJ CASPER & DJ FADER dropping your favorite "feel good" records.

To complete the vibe, each week will also feature LIVE artists from the area painting/spraying, local B-Boy crews catchin' wreck, PLUS JAM DISH will be on the grille cooking up delicious Jamaican food for all the party people in the place.
