Fredrick Avila

Fredrick Avila is an indie/folk singer-songwriter, recording artist, and multi-instrumentalist based out of Tampa, FL. Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina and raised in San Pedro Sula, Honduras, and Bordeaux, France. Fredrick is able to capture his life experiences and offer a unique perspective to songwriting through a mixture of imaginative lyrics and heartfelt melodies of his own making.

With an ever-respectful nod to the fine tradition of Neil Young and other remarkable folk stars, Fredrick’s music graces the airwaves alongside contemporaries such as Damien Rice, The Cary Brothers, and Mumford & Sons.

Fredrick currently performs as the front man for Bow & Sparrow and as a solo artist within the folk circuit across Florida at such venues as The Orpheum in Tampa, FL, Sacred Grounds in Tampa, FL, The Blue Room in Winter Haven FL, Deland Music Festival, and other fine music festivals and listening rooms showcasing the best in original music. Presently, Fredrick is working on his debut album “Wildfires” to be released later in 2014.

The RXN is a collaboration of vocalist, Christine Luceus and guitarist, Vincent Marino, both local singer/songwriters. They met while in college and started organically telling stories, and setting them to music. With the addition of percussionist Carmen Copeland, and cellist / pianist Brett Bowcott, these 4 musicians attribute to a blend of acoustic, indie pop music, with under tones of folk. This combination creates a reaction of authentic grooves and melodies, under expressive and thought provoking lyrics about love, heartbreak, self discovery and making their way through day to day life. It's amazing what a couple of music majors can come up with when their just telling their story, and doing what comes naturally; play music!
