Tampa 912 Project says
Should you sign the Solar Energy petition? Will this open up the energy market to fair competition and break the utility monopoly, or will this start the process for subsidies and mandates on solar energy? Will our electric bills go up, or down? Join us Tuesday 3/24 as we hear from advocates for and against the measure.

Get the facts on this debate that pits Tea Party vs Tea Party and has the Libertarian Party joining forces with the Green Party. Decide whether this amendment increases or reduces regulations.

Tory Perfetti, Chairman of the political action committee Floridians for Solar Choice, will provide arguments in favor of a proposed constitutional amendment dealing with solar energy in the state of Florida. His organization has begun the process of gathering signatures to place the amendment on the 2016 ballot.

James Taylor is a Senior Fellow for Environment and Energy Policy at the Heartland Institute and former host of locally produced "Inside Florida Politics" radio. He will provide arguments against the proposed amendment.

Join us at 6:30pm to welcome our guests and new members, enjoy light refreshments, and socialize a bit before the meeting is called to order at 7pm.
