The event creator says
The Tampa Bay Flow Tribe began hosting a monthly spin jam in January of 2013 with the intention of providing a safe place for individuals to gather in nature and further our knowledge, relationships, and perceptions of props used in the flow arts. Engage yourself in play without being judged! It doesn't matter if you started with your prop yesterday or if you want to get into a prop today; we encourage you to join us. We always have extra props for you to spin and dance with, and there will likely be someone happy and willing to teach you something new. All skill levels, all ages, and all props are invited to this event. Participation of any kind is welcomed!

We meet on the first Sunday of the month from 12:30PM-Sunset at Cypress Point Park in Tampa, which is off of the Westshore Blvd exit from I-275 and near the Howard Franklin/Courtney Campbell Bridge. It's half beach/half grassy park. It has plenty of shade, pavilions, and parking. We meet behind the playground in the far corner near the road or in around one of the pavilions if they aren't reserved.
