The event creator says
The Tampa Bay Symphony Winds (TBSW) is a community band based in Tampa. We are looking for new members for our Fall/Winter season. There are openings in all sections. The band will be doing Ghost Train by Eric Whitacre and Alfred Reed's Russian Christmas Music among other great music. Come out and join us! Look up the band on Facebook or email us back for information on joining us.

Remind yourself of the joy of making music with others....join the band!

The directors are John Davis and David Rosa. The band rehearses on Monday evenings from 7-9pm at Metropolitan Community Church on 408 W Cayuga St in Tampa next to Memorial Middle School.

We are community based and have community outreach aspects to give our members not just a musical outlet, but also a civic outlet. TBSW is currently supporting Metropolitan Ministries food bank. Membership is open to anyone interested in making music and supporting the community. We even have a marching component for those who like to perform in parades. The marching band will be in Orlando in October for a parade and the band will be doing a performance in Miami in 2016.
