A collection of Tampa’s Bay’s most influential solar specialists and vendors will gather at the University of South Florida on Saturday March 26, 2016 as a part of the annual Solar Energy Fair. Organized locally by the student chapter of the International Solar Energy Society at the University of South Florida in conjunction with the local branch the Sierra Club, the nation’s largest and most influential grassroots environmental organization, to promote solar energy and related industries.

The event kicks off at 10 AM in the USF Engineering Building II, featuring guest speakers, locally active solar vendors and electric vehicle showcases. A tour of the USF Flex House, a student-built house pioneering renewable energy technologies, will be offered along with a complimentary lunch and raffle give-aways! Participants will have the opportunity to converse with leaders in the field of renewable energy and understand its application.

The USF International Solar Energy Society is the world's first student chapter of the International Solar Energy Society and the winner of the Outstanding New Student Organization award. We are hoping to make a profound impact through this interdisciplinary student initiative dedicated to advancing education, research and policy related to renewable energy. It is an opportunity for anyone to become involved and discover solar energy and its prospects.
